In the 2070s america is in the grip of pandemic which effects homosexual and heterosexual promiscuous individuals and couples ( hiv meets coronavirus ) after returning from a 2070s dating culture a single medical/virologist lives in his laboratory even though he has million rated sliver penthouse. Paul Eatock who is still mourning the death of his gay brother from the frightening disease he is very ambitious virologist looking for vaccines and treatments to many deadly viruses from venom from poison arrow frogs, king cobras, funnel web spiders and lion fish. The next day Paul s virology medical team are caught up in Asian hornets swarm in the laboratory (set-piece) just about escaping death and disaster. The heroic team think they found a vaccine for the deadly virus that like a plague test it on a primate it takes hours for the team to realise it works (technology set piece) plus the escaped primate ie mandrill attacks Paul and two other virologist Diana Reid and Anthony Madden (action set-piece) The next day all three single virologist plan to test the vaccine by debauched San Francisco dating scene. Where the mutated tarantula hawk wasp and Asian hornet venom is ninety percent of vaccine which mixed with elements like gas and liquids that gives the micro-organisms no chance multiplying or reproducing.The first night of dating experiment the tall and handsome Paul goes on two dates on one night ( but metamorphosis into monstrous hawk wasp murders the two women) It is not Paul that is the monster is Diana the vaccine mutated hawk wasp (not known to other scientists) (sub-plots radical homosexual charity and political lobbying company involved in dating terrorism and only caring about the gay celebrities that have died in the pandemic maybe the leader of group is murdering San Francisco politicians using exposure to the disease as a media weapon) another sub-plot ( Hollywood brat pack movies stars all in twenties are preyed upon by fatal attraction obsessed Diana who is secretly in love with Paul who doesn't even knows how she feels because he is very self-absorbed ) another sub-plot ( San Francisico journalist and lecturer ie like van Helsing investigating vanishings of adults in dating scene ) Anthony also goes on date with next door neighbour ( they have a one night stand ) also Paul goes on another date (blind not looking who it is) female homicide detective working with the journalist who tied Paul to the deaths of the two women) Suddenly Anthony hears screams at his neighbours house in a nice middle-class real estate he see the tarantula hawk wasp monster ( with the hero Paul engages in suspenseful chase through streets of San Francisco ending finding a wasp nest in golden gate bridge plus four or five dead bodies of women Paul has dated and two he slept with the escaping tarantula hawk wasp ending with action set pieces and innocent witnesses deaths at fisherman wharf and uss pampanito submarine) then Anthony is interviewed by the fbi and van Helsing journalist whose ambition to be on San Francisco nbc or cbs news is becoming reality now Los Angeles nbc and cbs are reporting after the deaths of the movies stars. ( sub-plot you see the murders) As Paul and Anthony chase a murderous Diana with the fbi and van Helsing journalist is cornered in famous San Francisco apartment full skyscraper ie fbi agents are killed the journalist has been injured. Paul and Anthony are involved in Reid hawk wasp death finale like King Kong but she can fly with fbi helicopter shoots her down and she falls to her death. shocking last scenes Paul and Anthony are also tarantula hawk wasp mutations still murdering in the San Francisco and Los Angeles dating scene. Paul and Anthony are dating hollywood starlets because their heroes ( death scenes of both starlets ie like kate winslet ) ending with a bullet or french connection car chase (fatalities) between Paul and Anthony and the van Helsing like journalist and Paul's white knuckle obsessive blind date and homicide officer In San francisco which leading to the orcale park while san franisco giants are playing and anthony the mutated tarantula hawk wasp is killed by a helicopters ( police ) rotor in muir park while Paul returns to his nest in laboratory with the van helsing journalist waiting for him ( having a lynch-mob ready to destroy the Eatock wasp) your the last of your kind the journalist said just like me ( he is dying of a virulent version of hiv/aids i have only weeks to live but I'm going enjoy murdering you) after Eatock had destroyed the vaccine when sane and remorseful i hope you find your human form. The police armed division approaches the laboratory in a circle around the science facility with naked human kneeing on the floor captured like hannibal lecter.
