A British wing of mi5 and mi6 female agents mission is to time-travel throughout history assassinating historical and evil megalomaniacs ie their targets are Ivan the Terrible, Genghis Khan, Attila the Hun, Vlad the impaler and also Adolf Hitler whose future ancestors our responsible for 2050s world war three. First set pieces in 1920s and 1930s birth of hitler's nazi party by Amy Johnson and her colleague Martin Wisher one seduces and other like a spy murders their historic ancestor which are called the five horseman including world war 1 battles of somme & ypres. The second assassination is Ivan the terrible in the siege of Kazan plus battles of wenden, molodi, Moscow and Qasium Khanate cavalry battles epic set-pieces as kazan comes under a bloodthirsty attack. Amy may be captured by Ivan's soldiers and it becomes a rescue mission with other mi5 and mi6 agents in a massive James Bond-like epic battle as Ivan escapes. After a months break Amy and Martin become romantically involved with world war three backdrop and ordered for another suicide mission is Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun where khan first conquest of china in Xi Xia north china also battles of mohi, yehuling & zhongdu. Major battle scenes and near attempt assassination of the charismatic Khan who Amy and her knew colleague Wilson who is killed by khan in massive epic duel were Amy escapes with her life just about but injured. While in the same month Martin and his colleague inexperienced Samantha Adams involved in many battles including battles of danube against the roman empire and conflicts in european cities of Illyricum, Viminacium,and moesia but never managed to get close enough to the handsome Attila who Samantha falls in love with him. Needing help from the time-travelling Amy, Martin fears the agents will sacrifice the young Samantha while assassinating Attila including duels between Amy and Samantha also Attila most trusted leader and martin.The finale of the story where Martin is killed by Attila with Amy needing revenge in conflicts in Naissus and Ratiara like military modern day garrisons also the battles of milano & utus and also surviving the psychotic roman empires after Attila violent death. The mourning Amy embarks on her next mission assassination of napoleon in battles of ziepzig & rivoli and an young alexander the great in battles of persian gates but the 2050 war has become more destructive because failure to kill vlad the impaler and genghis khan i.e half a hour set-piece a homage to tank chase in goldeneye but using russian military & british ultra-modern helicopters
